I had a very good experience with Ingrid! I was referred to her when my 9-1/2-year-old neutered male cat suddenly began spraying all over my house: The wooden furniture, upholstered furniture, base cabinets, walls, doors, and appliances! It was a nightmare. I would clean up one area one day and he would spray it again the next day. While consulting with Ingrid, she mentioned that one of the larger shelters around here had diagnosed some male cats as being neutered when they actually weren’t. Now, I knew that my cat had been checked by the vet at that very same shelter and also by my own vet, so that wasn’t obviously the problem. However, it occurred to me that he might have an undescended testicle, so I took him to my vet, who said that we could check to see if he had a high level of testosterone in his blood. About a week later, the results were that my cat had a testosterone level 100 times higher than it should have been!

I was referred to a veterinarian surgeon who performed an ultrasound on him and she found that he had TWO undescended testicles! The next day, he had surgery to remove them, came home the same day, and has never sprayed since! If it weren’t for that push by Ingrid, I never would have thought to check that! I also want to mention that throughout this ordeal, but before and after we knew exactly what the problem was, Ingrid always responded promptly to my requests for help or just a shoulder to lean on. It was good to have someone who cared in my corner.
